Lindara Markets - next market on Saturday Nov 30, 2024 8am-1pm
These markets are a joint effort of the Uniting Church in Lindfield and Killara to raise funds to support families who are in crisis and/or homeless on the north shore of Sydney. The proceeds of each Lindara Market helps to fund a professional social worker for the Lindara Families Program. Over $20,000 is raised annually just from the markets to aid the Lindara Family Support Worker to care for approx 30 families, including 50 children annually. More recently these markets are receiving ecumenical volunteer support from other local church groups, including Holy Family Catholic Church in Lindfield and from the surrounding community who drop items for us to sell, or volunteer to help. More information under the "Projects" tab.

Easter Services 2025 - all details TBC closer to the dates
On Palm Sunday, 13th April we will share a short service outside Holy Family Church at 10am (the Catholic church on the next block down the Pacific Highway) and the service here at LUC will commence at approximately 10.15am. After the short service at Holy Family we will walk up the highway waving Palm branches in a procession. Everyone welcome to join in.
On Maundy Thursday, 17th April we are expecting to plan a service in the church at LUC at 7.30pm led be Rev Yangrae Son from KUC, and shared by our friends from KUC. There will be a service of Holy Communion followed by a service of readings after which we will quietly leave the church in darkness (with some light for safety).
On Good Friday, 18th April we might share with our friends at Killara UC, in their church at 9.30am (in which case there would be no service at LUC on Good Friday).
On Easter Sunday, 20th April, we will hold our service here at LUC at the usual time of 10am.
